These Fig and Pear Prosciutto Wraps are a great party appetizer. Flavorful, aromatic, succulent, and simply delicious! They are so easy to make. In just about 10-15 minutes you'll have yourself a tasty party dish.
Set the prosciutto slices onto a clean work surface and place one or two pear slices on the bottom of each prosciutto. Top the pears with the fresh fig and several cilantro leaves on top.
Starting from the bottom, carefully roll up the prosciutto.
Secure the rolls with a toothpick or a cocktail pick and arrange them in a serving platter.
Drizzle the rolls with balsamic glaze just before serving.
Notes
Select ripe pears that are firm for a crisp texture, or opt for softer ones for increased sweetness and juiciness.
If not using toothpics, make sure to roll the prosciutto wraps tightly to keep the filling secure and prevent them from unraveling.
Refrigerate the assembled wraps for 15-30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together and makes the wraps easier to slice.
Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the wraps just before serving to prevent them from becoming too soggy.
